Yoga Flow
Yoga Flow (Vinyasa) is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly accompanied by regulated breathing.
Yoga
Hatha based yoga uses poses and breathing techniques to align and calm the body, mind, and spirit. Classes are generally focused on holding the pose instead of flowing.
Yin
Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga where poses are held for generally 3 minutes or longer targeting the deep connective tissue in our body.
Heated Yoga
Our studio uses gentle infrared heating which penetrates the body improving circulation and relaxing muscles. We will offer a variety of yoga classes in our heated space. Currently we offer Heated Flow.
Chair
Feel Free chair yoga is a modified version of Hatha Yoga. Improves flexibility, relieving stiffness, increasing energy and creating a happy mental state. Great class for seniors and anyone at any age not wanting to practice on a mat.
Restorative yoga is a restful practice that holds yoga poses for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind.
These are Classical Pilates mat classes, which stay true to the method created by Joseph Pilates. By focusing on the six principles of Pilates (control, centering, concentration, precision, breath, and flow) during each class, we create a deep mind/body connection while creating stretch and strength in our muscles.
We will focus on the fundamentals of Pilates, exploring the beginner exercises as we build powerhouse strength and alignment. All levels welcome.

Intermediate Level Pilates Mat
This is a faster paced class, where we move through intermediate exercises with a focus on precision and flow. Previous attendance in Kim's classes is strongly recommended.
Gentle Yoga
The intention of this class is to relax and rejuvenate your body, increase your pain-free range of motion, and bring a calm stillness to the mind. We will practice mindful movement focusing on our awareness of sensations and breath. This is an inclusive class and a style for people who may have less than ideal flexibility or need more time between poses. We will provide an effective, compassionate, non-competitve environment for you and meet you where you are.
Breathe & Stretch
This total body stretch class begins by stretching and expanding the lungs with deep breathing exercises that strengthen the major muscles of respiration, increase blood flow, lower stress and improve cognitive function. Deep breathing is encouraged throughout the remainder of class which uses a combination of standing, seated and floor stretches, dynamic and static stretches, as well as props to improve flexibility and range of motion from head to toe. Each class ends with supported, constructive rest to allow the body to settle and to release any remaining tension.
Yoga Foundations
This is a class for all levels that focuses on alignment and individualized guidance. Each session delves into specific poses, breaking them down for deeper understanding. Students are encouraged to ask questions, fostering a supportive learning environment. Join us to refine your practice and cultivate mindfulness on the mat. This class is great for beginners as well as seasoned yoga students wanting to strengthen their practice.
Slow Flow
Slow Flow focuses on a series of asanas that benefit the whole physical body with an interweaving of breath work, yoga philosophy, and compassion for each student. Classes offer fewer poses and more space between poses while still retaining the rhythm of a flow yoga class. Poses are held longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose, and range from gentle to more challenging. Alternative poses and props are encouraged. The slower pace allows time to emphasize alignment, mindfulness of movement and conscious breathing while building strength, stability and postural integrity. This makes Slow Flow particularly well-suited to newer students or more advanced students who desire a more sustainable, mindful practice.
Sound Baths
Sound Baths are immersive, full body, sound healing experience. Please bring a mat or blanket and dress comfortably, you will be lying down for the entire hour. Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before start time. Stay after for Community Connection and enjoy some refreshments.
Vibrational sound healing has been shown to relax tension in the body, reduce stress, promote restful sleep, clear our minds and give our whole body an opportunity to release and heal.
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra, or awakened sleep, is an invitation to awaken into deeper states of conscious and subconscious mind during deep rest. Blended with awareness, this practice stimulates a fresh depth of healing and restoration.
Our yoga nidra sessions often include Sound Healing as you are bathed in sound waves and vibrations from the crystal quartz singing bowls.
You may register and sign up for classes online or via our Feel Free Yoga app:
New
to Yoga?
We are all about welcoming newbies! Once you walk through those doors, you’ve done the hardest part: showing up. We will do our very best to make you feel welcome, safe and excited about your new journey. At Feel Free Yoga + Wellness Studio, our goal is to guide you, the beginner, through the learning process and help you discover how yoga may best serve you.
If these phrases sound familiar— “I’m not flexible,” “yoga is not for me,”or “yoga is too slow”— please allow Feel Free Yoga to prove otherwise!
Yoga is for those who are not flexible and those who are. Yoga can be intimidating but doesn’t have to be. Yoga can be slow, fast, hard, easy, strengthening, or relaxing. Yoga truly has something unique to offer everyone and every body.
I love teaching a Beginner’s Yoga Class because I remember so vividly how I felt when I first started, and how it took me way too long to really understand what yoga was all about. Let us help with any jitters you might have by putting you together with other beginners.
We offer a True Beginner’s Yoga Class that will help you feel more comfortable and knowledgeable about all things yoga. And when you’re ready, you’ll have the choice to move from a Beginner’s Class to trying other styles of yoga. Remember it’s your body, your practice and your choice.

In May 2021 she received her Holy Fire Reiki Master Certification and started offering private Reiki sessions to clients. YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Meri first came to yoga as a teenager due to chronic health concerns. Since then, she has found the practice pivotal in better understanding, trusting, and honoring herself. As a teacher, she creates a space that invites students to experience themselves–their bodies, sensation, and breath–as they are in the moment without judgment. She believes that through movement, wonder, and curiosity students can build trust within themselves and find their body as a safe space—practices and effects that permeate far off the mat. When not teaching, she can be found writing or painting.

Erika Galloway
YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Erika was introduced to yoga in college through many of her friends. The habit did not stick due to a desire to focus on her career in Graphic Design. After several decades of a high stress design career, Erika was drawn back to yoga as a way to de-stress. She began practicing yoga online and by watching DVDs of prominent well known yoga instructors.
In 2020, Erika enrolled in a local yoga studio. She was immediately drawn to the community environment and practicing yoga with fellow practitioners. After several months, she decided to immerse herself in a deeper understanding of the teachings of yoga. Erika enrolled in a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at M3Yoga. She quickly started teaching yoga after graduation. Her professional teaching journey continues as she has trained with Lucas Rockwood (Science of StretchingTM) and is currently working with Michelle Young on her 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification.
Erika’s approach to yoga remains focused on the balance between strength and flexibility. Her classes focus on Vinyasa Flow. Her students can expect to move, sweat, stretch and breathe.
